Horseback riding lessons are offered to children and adults of all ages. Lessons are tailored to what your specific goals are with riding, wether it is just a fun activity for the kids, or you're an adult looking to pick up a new sport! If you are just looking to get into riding and see if you like it, private lessons are a good option. Private lessons are $100 for sixty minutes with an instructor. For older children and adults, the goal of my lesson program is to prepare you to handle horses and ride them independently. The first few lessons we will spend about half the time on the ground learning how to groom and saddle your horse. Once you have the ability to saddle, groom, and lead your horse confidently, more of the lesson will be spent in the saddle working on riding skills.
As a certified riding instructor, I have based my lesson program upon the Certified Horsemanship Association's standers for equestrian programs. Much of my lesson curriculum is based upon their guidelines. If you would like to learn more, feel free to look them up!
I offer English and western riding lessons. I do not offer jumping lessons.
