Twice a week campers will get to practice archery on the back of a moving horse! For safety reasons, we will only be using safety arrows for all our classes. (Plunger arrows)
Each day campers will get to learn gymnastics on the back of a moving horse! Don't fear- this type of trick riding is statistically safer that actual riding lessons! See http://www.goldstarpacesetters.com/is-vaulting-safe.html
this camp is suitable for all levels of riders as we do NOT include “riding lessons”. All time spent on the horse is exclusively for archery and vaulting!
Camp also include lessons on veterinary medicine (campers will use a stethoscope to listen to a horse's heart, lungs, and stomach), dress up their horses for a costume contest, learn to braid manes and tails, how to communicate with horses, how to clean a horses hooves, play games, scavenger hunts, musical chairs with saddles, and much more!
Summers can be hard for parents due to busy work schedules! We have options for early drop off and late pick ups to accommodate this need! During this extra time, campers will get to groom horses, play games, and other fun activities!
